Silvia Mollicchi

Appendix XVIII: a proposition for an intensive archive


Silvia Mollicchi is a London-based researcher, writer and recent graduate from the Centre for Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths College. She holds an MA in Contemporary Middle-Eastern History from Bologna University and lived in Cairo (Egypt) for three years where she conducted a research on contemporary Egyptian literature and worked at the Contemporary Image Collective and Townhouse Gallery for Contemporary Art. Among other projects, at CIC, she conceived and planned the programme for CIC PhotoSchool, produced and edited the second edition of the Alternative News Agency publication, and coordinated the inter-library project Rofouf. Her writings have appeared on Full Stop, Muftah, Egypt Independent, Peacereporter and NENA.
